Animal Rescue Stories : Last minute save for 'hugging' dog slated to be killed in New York

Every minute of every day could be filled with requests for death row dogs - it is a sad and overwhelming fact.
It is a thrill to be able to share the dogs who escaped an unfair fate - dogs like "Dice," a volunteer favorite, surrendered by his owner, who was slated to be killed on February 19 at the New York Animal Care and Control facility in Manhattan.
Dice did not get killed - he was pulled from the facility at the last moment and he has already been adopted.
Rebound Hounds ResQ shared the amazing news on Friday:
That had to be the fastest adoption on record - DICE is adopted and will be living in CHELSEA!!! From KILL LIST to Chelsea living!
Good things can, and do, still happen. Have a happy, long and loved life Dice!
